Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 June 2025  |  Effective date: 10 June 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Modelyn's website and online courses. By registering an account, enrolling in a course, or using our platform, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or enrolling in a program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Service Description

Modelyn provides online AI development education across three programs: the Foundations Course, the Model Building Track, and the Mentored Model Program. Each program delivers course content, guided exercises, and varying levels of instructor feedback and mentoring as described on the Solutions page of our website.

Course content is delivered through our online platform and accessed via a learner account. The availability of group workshops and mentoring sessions in the Mentored Model Program is subject to scheduling coordination with our team.

We may update, improve, or adjust course content from time to time. We will not remove material that significantly changes the scope of an enrolled program without notice.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your login details with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account. If you become aware of unauthorised use of your account, contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.

We may suspend or terminate an account where there is evidence of shared access, misuse, or violation of these terms.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the Modelyn platform, you agree to:

Violation of these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, exercises, video materials, code examples, and written explanations are owned by Modelyn or licensed for use on the platform. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for your own learning during the period of your enrolment.

You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, create derivative works from, or publicly display any course materials without our express written consent.

Work you create during your courses — including code you write, models you build, and portfolios you compile — remains your own. We do not claim ownership over your original submissions.

7. Payment Terms

Course fees are as displayed on our Solutions page at the time of enrolment, denominated in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is required in full before access to course materials is granted.

We accept payment through the methods listed on our checkout page, processed through our third-party payment provider.

Refund policy: If you contact us within 7 days of payment and have not accessed more than 20% of the course content, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. After 7 days or significant course access, we do not offer refunds. Technical issues that prevent access to the platform are treated separately and will be resolved or compensated at our discretion.

8. Course Enrolment and Access

9. Disclaimers

Modelyn's programs are provided for general educational and skills-building purposes. We do not make representations about specific outcomes, employment prospects, or skill levels you will achieve by completing a program. Results depend on the effort, background, and time each learner brings to the course.

The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and reliability, but we do not offer a service availability guarantee.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Modelyn's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of earnings, loss of data, or loss of opportunity. We are also not liable for disruptions caused by circumstances outside our control, including internet service failures, third-party platform issues, or force majeure events.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modelyn, its founders, instructors, and staff from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform in violation of these terms, or from your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. To formally close your account, contact us at [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, behave in a way that is harmful to other learners or our team, or if we are required to do so by law.

Sections covering intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive any termination of this agreement.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. You can reach us at [email protected].

If an informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts in Bangkok.

14. General Provisions

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify enrolled learners by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
